We believe that the pursuit of health and wellness is an imperfect journey, not a destination. Our goal is to create and be part of a community where we can have open and honest conversations about fitness, food, health practices and more. By sharing our experiences, insights and challenges through our blog, we hope to inspire others to prioritize their mental and physical health and cultivate a sense of gratitude for everyday life.
One of the most important things we can do to improve our health and well-being is to create and nurture a healthy relationship with food. Food is not just fuel for our bodies; it’s a source of pleasure, comfort and community. We believe there should not be any restrictions, and that food and life as a whole are meant to be enjoyed. We strive to provide recipes and blog posts about food that add value to your life and inspire you to try a new meal, while also providing vital nutrients to your body.
At Grateful Being, we believe in taking a balanced approach to food. We provide full information on the ingredients used in each of our recipes and nutrition facts, so you can make the best decision on what to eat for your own diet and nutritional focuses. We offer a lot of recipes that are catered toward high-protein diets, for those who may be wanting to focus on putting on additional muscle. Mental health & wellness is also a main focus of our blog. In our current societal standards and fast-paced lifestyle, it’s easy to get caught up in the stress and demands of daily life. We believe in the importance of prioritizing our mental health and cultivating a sense of mindfulness and gratitude in everyday life.
Anxiety, Depression, OCD, and other mental health conditions are becoming increasingly common in the U.S. With a focus on “grind culture” and a lack of resources available to support people with any mental illnesses, we believe it’s important to prioritize your mental health before you start to feel out of control in dealing with any of these potential mental health problems.
